Duncan spent the early part of his life in a puppy mill, without the human interaction puppies need so much. Though he was rescued from the mill, the lack of socialization has made him awkward and unsure.
Duncan is very vocal, and he will bark and back away from people at first. Yet he also play-bows and seems to enjoy having people around; he just needs to learn how to bond and trust.
