Domestic Short Hair - Rio - Medium - Adult - Female - Cat
'Don't ever count me out. I'm one tough cookie!'
Rio's determined to prove to those mean people who literally threw her away that they made a huge mistake. She may have a defect in her hind legs, but in just 10 days of physical therapy at Best Friends, she's already showing more strength in those fuzzy limbs. She's even started moving around on her own. You should see how proud she is of herself!
In addition to her problematic hind legs, Rio is also incontinent. But with her fast progress, her therapists are hopeful she will regain control of her bladder. Now that's one strong little kitten!
Born in May , Rio is working as hard as she can to be a normal kitten. She enjoys playing and is even figuring out the cat tree. Even more than showing off her physical strength, she enjoys hanging out with her human friends. Rio seems to understand she got a second chance at life. And she's determined to make the most of it. For now, she's dreaming of being part of her very own family. If you adopt her, she promises to remind you every day not to give up on your dreams, either!
