Handsome Mitchell is the strong, independent type. He's highly intelligent, too, but has had a hard time finding the right home because of a high prey drive and some resource-guarding issues.
Born in , Mitchell originally came to Best Friends from a humane society that had trouble finding a home for him. He was adopted once but got returned for biting in a resource-guarding incident.
Mitchell will need a dog-savvy person who can help him work through his issues. Once you gain his confidence, he can be a very calm, confident, and relaxed dog. He likes to play, and he knows how to entertain himself. He'll make a great companion for the right person.
